The upcoming KTM 390 Adventure Enduro will be powered by the same 399cc engine as the new KTM 390 Duke
For off-road enthusiasts in India, KTM currently offers the 390 Adventure and 390 Adventure X. To provide a more thrilling riding experience, KTM will soon bring the 390 Adventure Enduro model to India. It is expected to be launched later this year or early 2025.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure Enduro – What to Expect?
The KTM 390 Adventure Enduro was first spotted testing in India in early March this year. It was spotted alongside the new 390 Adventure, which is also expected to be launched in the coming months.
The latest spy photos show the 390 Adventure Enduro undergoing some heavy testing during the monsoon season. With a lot of dust and debris on the test bike, it looks like the motorcycle has been through a long and hard journey. While the spy photos were taken in a road environment, some off-road trails might also be on the motorcycle’s travel plans.
Just a quick glance is enough to conclude that the KTM 390 Adventure Enduro is ready to conquer the most challenging trails. The Enduro is essentially a stripped-down version of the 390 Adventure. It features a minimal fairing, no windscreen and a shorter tail section. Due to its low weight, the KTM 390 Enduro has a higher power-to-weight ratio. The bike’s agile character as well as overall control and handling are also improved by the reduced weight.
Some of the key features include a raised front fender, sleek LED headlight and LED turn signals, and polygonal side mirrors. The bike comes with a sculpted fuel tank, raised handlebars, a flat seat design, toothed footpegs, and an underbody exhaust. The riding position looks quite comfortable and suitable for long-distance riding. The tech suite will include a simple LCD instrument display with Bluetooth connectivity. However, more advanced features like turn-by-turn navigation may not be available.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure Enduro – Features, Specifications
Both the new 390 Adventure and Adventure Enduro will be equipped with a 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It is the same engine used in the KTM 390 Duke. The engine outputs 45 PS and 39 Nm and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine can be tuned to suit the ADV nature of the motorcycle.
Talking about the core hardware, the KTM 390 Adventure Enduro will borrow most of the components from the 390 Adventure. The front inverted fork has a long suspension travel, while the WP offset monoshock takes care of the rear. The test bike rides on 21-inch front and 18-inch wheels at the rear. The braking setup is likely to include a 320 mm front disc brake and a 230 mm rear disc brake. The brake lever will be an adjustable unit, and so may the clutch lever.
KTM 390 Adventure Enduro – Release date, price
KTM is expected to showcase the 390 Adventure Enduro at the upcoming EICMA to be held from November 7 to 10. The motorcycle is likely to be launched by the end of this year or in early 2025. The launch price is likely to be around Rs 3.6 lakh. The KTM 390 Adventure Enduro will primarily compete with the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Raid.
