With the new Dzire Tour S, taxi operators can access higher mileage, new features and enhanced safety equipment

Maruti launched its new fourth-generation Dzire last November. However, the commercial version of Tour S continues to use the third generation. New Maruti Dzire Taxi CNG – 2025 Tour S

The new Dzire gets a more sporty profile than the third-generation model. Now, even on the toughest and most forgiving streets, it has stronger roads and may be more respectful. Now all these positive aspects of the new Dzire will also be available in the new Tour S. Maruti Dzire Tour S in one variant, and the new Dzire operator is also available.

Powertrain options include gasoline and gasoline + CNG dual fuel settings. Some key highlights include LED projector headlights, large grille, R14 steel wheels, avant-garde LED taillights, shark fin antennas, LED overhead parking lights and Aero Boot Lip lip spoiler. Inside, the new Dzire Tour S has driver and joint driver side visors, a two-tone black and beige interior, and front door handrails with fabric.

The instrument console includes an analog speedometer and tachometer as well as a multi-information display. If such options are available, there is no Dzire Tour S.’s infotainment system or audio system that can be installed from a third party or dealer. One of the major improvements to the new Tour S is the addition of power windows to all four doors.

Other key features include electromagnetic torso openings, adjustable front seat headrests, driver pedals, front accessory sockets, remote keyless entry system, central clock, power and tilt steering and tilt steering and tilt steering for all doors. The manual variant of the new Dzire Tour S has a shift indicator. The sedan has a manual air conditioner with premium panel lighting.

Enhanced security

For taxi operators and passengers, the new Dzire Tour S offers a more powerful safety package. Key features include front/side/curtain airbags, electronic stability plan (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, reverse sensors, and ABS with EBD. The sedan also features a rear guard, speed-sensitive automatic door lock, engine holder, seat belt reminder lights and buzzers for all occupants, Isofix child seat anchors, and front seat belts with pride and mandatory limiters.

New Dzire is built on the body of Suzuki Heartect to ensure enhanced protection for users. The sedan was tested in 2024 and received a 5-star safety rating from the global NCAP on the car. By comparison, the older models only have a 2-star safety rating.

Save fuel

The New Dzire Tour S has higher fuel efficiency compared to the third-generation model. This will allow taxi operators to increase profits over longer distances. Powering the sedan is the Z12E 1.2-liter petrol engine that generates 81.58 PS and 111.7 nm of torque. The fuel efficiency of the gasoline variant is 26.06 km/i. In CNG mode, the fuel efficiency is 34.30 km/kg. The New Dzire Tour S CNG variant comes with a 37-liter gas tank and a 55-liter CNG tank.
