
MG Windsor EV is leading the electric vehicle (EV) segment in India, surpassing the long-running Tata Nexon EV and Punch EV. To further boost its sales performance, the automaker will launch a new remote electric compact MPV version. The 2025 mg Windsor EV will be unveiled in the showroom in April 2025. Here are all the key details of the MPV extended range version.
2025 mg Windsor EV – Battery and range
The remote Windsor EV may offer a 50kWh lithium-ion battery from the MG ZS EV sold worldwide. It is available exclusively in high-end trim. The fully charged ARAI MIDC series is approximately 460 km away. It can be charged from 0 to 80% in 46 minutes via a 50kW DC fast charger and 16 hours via a standard AC charger. With this battery, the globally-spec ZS EV reaches 0 to 100kmph in 8.6 seconds and has a top speed of 175kmph. These numbers may change with Windsor electric vehicles.

Windsor EV is currently available with a 38KWH LFP battery pack and a front-mounted motor. This setup provides power of 136bhp and 200nm of torque. The electric MPV is fully charged and can provide a range of 331 kilometers. It has four driving modes, namely Eco, Eco+, Normal and Sport.
2025 mg Windsor EV – Interior and features
No changes are expected to be made in the cabin. The compact electric MPV is already equipped with features such as an Infinity 9 speaker audio system, a glass roof, ventilated front seats, PM2.5 filters, ambient lighting, an automatic dimming IRVM, a 360-degree camera, a 15.6-inch touchscreen information start system, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, and more.
2025 mg Windsor EV – Price expectations
The Windsor EV with a larger battery pack is nearly Rs 10,000 – Rs 15 lakh higher than the current version, which is priced in the Rs 13.5 lakh price range – Rs 155.5 lakh (all, front room).
