Ram shows off a new concept at SEMA that appears to be based on the 2500 Power Wagon
- Ram and Mopar have come up with a new concept that will be unveiled at next month’s SEMA show.
- The concept appears to be based on the facelifted Ram 2500 Power Wagon.
- The truck comes with a winch, vent hood, and orange tow hooks.
Car show season isn’t what it used to be, but the SEMA Show is back next month and Ram will help kick off the festivities. As part of this effort, they released the first teaser image of the “Beast Full-Scale Concept.”
The company isn’t revealing much yet, but says the model is part workhorse, part fighter. The brand adds that “obstacles on the job site or on the road are no match for this truck.”

Despite its coy appearance, the Moparized model is clearly based on the facelifted Ram Heavy Duty pickup truck. In fact, given the presence of a winch, we wouldn’t be surprised if this concept was based on the Ram 2500 Power Wagon.
While that remains to be seen, teaser images show the truck has a ventilated hood with topographical accents. We also see orange tow hooks, a desert-style paint job, and “2500 Heavy Duty” badging.
2025 Ram HD Lineup
Ram released the first photos of the facelifted HD lineup last month but has been tight-lipped on specifics. However, Ram CEO Chris Feuell previously confirmed that the trucks will use the latest technology from the 1500. That means there could be an improved 12-inch infotainment system, a new 14.5-inch display, and even a 10.25-inch front passenger display. They can also be equipped with hands-free driving assistance and dual wireless smartphone chargers.
The executive also confirmed plans for “improved” Cummins engines that will replace the current lineup, including a 6.7-liter turbodiesel inline-six with outputs of 370 hp (276 kW / 375 PS) and 850 lb-ft (1,151 Nm) of torque as well as 420 hp (313 kW / 426 PS) and 1,075 lb-ft (1,456 Nm) of torque.
