2025 Renault Kiger made a spy test

With Duster’s launch delayed until 2026, Renault’s goal is to keep the latest developments in its Indian portfolio. This means a makeover version of its flagship Kiger 4M SUV. Previous spy shots confirm the prospect of a Kiger makeover. However, the latest spy footage shows Kiger makeover tester. Let’s take a closer look.

Renault Kiger 2025

India’s 4 million SUV segment is profitable for buyers. Many OEMs cracked the formula and achieved great success. Renault Kiger, on the other hand, is the 4 million SUV sold in India with the lowest sales (monozoic) in January 2025, with only 755 clocks and its Nissan rival (Magnite) sold 2,404 units.

Unlike Magnite, Kiger has never had an update since its launch in early 2021. Renault is now developing a makeover version of Kiger, and the spy shots that test muzi are already circulating online. The recent test ms are from Ooty, and these spy shots are the clearest.

As can be seen from these spy shots, Kiger Facelift retains the basic outline of the current model. The sheet metal also seems to have nothing to change. Therefore, the changes in the makeover are mainly the same as those of plastic and fiber elements (such as front and rear bumpers). Due to the disguise, the actual design of these bumpers is not visible.

The rear split spoiler, roof rails, shark fin antenna, doors, rear windshield and rear C-shaped LED taillights look the same as the current model. It is worth noting that we can see the smoked or clear lens effect with the taillights. The alloy wheel design is new and will likely stay at 16 inches. One feature addition we can see in these spy shots is the 360-degree camera seen on ORVM.

We can also see a glimpse of Renault Kiger’s Facelift’s fascia, albeit with camouflage. Elements such as split headlight designs come with LED DRL on the top and headlights on the bottom, just like they do with the current model. We can expect an increase in front bumper and fog lights, which is missing in the current model.

With a facelift, we can expect a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats in the front, automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers, and more. Just like the Magnite Facelift, Kiger’s powertrain options will remain the same – a 1.0L NA petrol engine and a 1.0L turbocharged engine with up to 100 bhp and 152 nm, paired with a 5-speed MT, 5-speed MT, 5-speed AMT and CVT, depending on the engine’s choice.
