Renault Triber Facelift brings subtle design tweaks and internal upgrades
Renault is preparing to update its popular 4 million MPV Triber and is expected to debut later in 2025. This will mark the first major update of the model since its initial release six years ago. The upcoming Facelift has been confirmed earlier with Renault India, that both Triber and Kiger will be updated this year. Although I saw the test m of Kiger Facelift last month, I have now discovered a refreshed version of Triber.
Design update
Recently, camouflage prototypes of the camouflage modified ternary fiber have been seen, revealing its rear and side profiles. Although the overall shape remains familiar, smaller design tweaks are expected. Elements such as taillights, training slides and rear bumpers seem to have largely remained unchanged. The side profile retains unique character lines and upward window kinks that define the current model.
Although the front panel is still invisible in the latest spy images, the makeover is expected to have a sharper styling to be more consistent with Renault’s global design language.
Internal enhancement possible
Inside the cabin, Triber Facelift is expected to receive mild revisions, focusing on improved material quality and updated feature sets. Renault may introduce lighter shades and other soft materials, similar to the approach taken in the refreshed Nissan Magnite. The infotainment system and connectivity features may also see upgrades to enhance the overall user experience.
Powertrain
Under the hood, the Triber Facelift may retain its existing 1.0-liter naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine. The unit produces 72 hp and 96 nm of torque and is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT. There is no indication of mechanical changes, which suggests that Renault will continue to offer tested settings.
Startup timetable
As Renault continues to focus on refreshing its lineup, it is expected to position it as a value proposition in the compact MPV segment. More details on the model’s release schedule, pricing and other features will be closer to its official unveiling.
