The main difference we can see is that the USD telescopic fork comes in a lovely gold tone. The Bear 650 thus became the first to receive a USD fork based on this chassis. While the rear is still a dual shock setup, the upcoming Himalayan 650 will be the first 650cc Royal Enfield to feature a single shock setup at the rear.

As seen in the teaser, we can see that the Royal Enfield Bear 650 comes in monotone and dual-tone colors. The Bear 650 gets a single exhaust, which will help reduce weight. Another noteworthy element of this motorcycle is the addition of the 5-inch Tripper Dash, which comes with features like Google Maps and music control.

The trailer symbolizes the change of landscape from city to desert. This suggests that Royal Enfield is using this motorcycle as a getaway vehicle to have some off-road fun and escape from the mundane 9 to 5 life. Notably, the trailer features the voice of famous motorcycle racer, stuntman, and bike builder Eddie Mulder.

The Royal Enfield Bear 650 will be powered by the same 648cc parallel twin-cylinder oil-cooled engine capable of producing 47 hp and 52 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. In the trailer, the motorcycle appears to have a redesigned exhaust noise that sounds a lot like an American V-twin. More details will be announced soon, with launch expected in 2025.
