Tata Altroz is a premium hatchback offering from the indigenous automaker, which was first introduced in early 2020. Aiming to expand the model lineup, the carmaker rolled out its DCT variants in 2022, iCNG version in 2023 and the performance-oriented Racer in 2024. As the hatchback completes five successful years, it’s time to give it a major midlife update. Facelift recently discovered tests on Indian roads. However, the test ms are heavily camouflaged, covering up the design changes.
Secondary design changes:
If you look closely, the spy image shows the revised front bumper. The updated unit places a vertical crease under the fog lamp housing. The taillights and indicators will get LED elements. 2025 Tata Altroz Facelift may also get some obvious changes on the front end.
New features:
The spy image can also glimpse its interior, confirming the existence of a large infotainment system. The updated version may also come with new seat interiors and door frames. The top variant of the Altroz Facelift can be provided with ventilated front seats, currently exclusive to the Altroz Racer. The cabin layout and functionality will remain intact.
Same engine cartridge combination:
Under the hood, the new Tata Altroz may feature existing engines – 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbodiesel. While the maximum power of the gasoline unit is 86bhp and 113nm of torque, the diesel motor provides 90bhp and 200nm. Manual and DCT gearboxes are available.
After the update, the CNG fuel option will also continue. The Altroz CNG is equipped with a 1.2-liter petrol engine and paired with a factory-equipped CNG kit. This setup provides 88bhp and 115nm of torque power.
