While the Australian model line-up is expected to remain unchanged through 2025, overseas markets have welcomed new models in recent months.

Tesla launched the base Model 3 in Mexico, a rear-wheel-drive model that lacks multi-color ambient lighting, a rear passenger screen, leatherette upholstery, seat heating and ventilation, and a heated steering wheel.

The sound system was also reduced from 17 speakers to nine, losing an amplifier and two subwoofers in the process.

Building on this value focus, a new long-range rear-wheel drive (RWD) model has arrived in the UK, with a claimed WLTP range of 702km, longer than any other variant of the best-selling electric sedan.
