2026 Ford Ranger Super Responsibility Is a Medium Super Truck

Ford laughed at Ranger Super Responsibility last fall, and the company will prepare for next year’s launch. As part of this work, a prototype of cold weather testing was recently conducted in Nordic Europe.

It looks like a savage, the super responsibility prototype follows in the footsteps of the Standard Ranger, but is equipped with snorkeling and unique beds. The truck also appears to have a modified front bumper and grille.

While not much is visible, we can expect a reinforced frame and heavy-duty shaft. Speaking of the latter, Ford has previously laughed at the eight-lug setup that combines 18-inch wheels with 33-inch all-terrain tires. At the time, Drew O’Shannassy, ​​director of planning at Ranger Super Duty Engineering, said: “The eight-piece state configuration has a significant advantage in load capacity and ensures an even weight distribution throughout the steering wheel.” He added that the wheel and tire setup would provide “a combination of strength, grip and reliability that our hard-working customers need.”

Ford hasn’t gotten into many details, but has previously stated that Ranger Super Responsibility will be able to “do what other mid-sized trucks can’t do.” In particular, it has a towing capacity of 9,921 pounds (4,500 kg), which is a significant improvement over the current rating of 7,716 pounds (3,500 kg).

Customers can also expect a total mass of 9,921 pounds (4,500 kg) and a total mass of 17,637 pounds (8,000 kg). This means that owners will be able to tow and do more with trucks.

Ford has been scared of other details, but the Ranger Super can offer the Raptor’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Ecoboost V6. In Australia, it produces 392 hp (292 kW/397 PS) and 430 lb-ft (583 nm) of torque.

We can expect to learn more in the coming months, but the Ranger Super responsibility is developed by Ford’s International Markets Group and will be built in Thailand. It will be available in “markets around the world”, but these are expected to be mainly in Asia, Africa, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
