- Honda recalls nearly 300,000 vehicles that may be unexpectedly stagnated or lost.
- Software problems will affect Honda pilots and Acura Tlx Type-S and MDX Type-S.
- Acura MDX is also recalled through a faulty rear view camera display.
ACURA and Honda recall 294,612 cars because software problems will affect fuel injection electron control units. Unfortunately, this will cause the engine to stab or lose power.
The recall involves 2021-2025 Acura TLX type S, 2022-2025 Acura MDX Type-S and 2023-2025 Honda Pilot. The government said that due to improper programming, the “sudden change in the throttle” may cause the engine to lose motivation and hesitate to and/or stalls.

Honda began investigating the problem in December 2023, and in April 2024, Denso notified a potential problem. These companies continued to collect and analyze the data, and finally decided to recall earlier this month. As of January 16, auto manufacturers have received 674 warranty claims related to the issue, but there is no report on damage or crash.
The owner will be notified in March and will instruct them to bring the vehicle to the distribution store, where the FI-ECU software will be re-programmed.
In other Acura news, the company recalled 9,221 MDX of the 2025 model. Their information and entertainment system can be blank, resulting in the loss of the rear view camera display. This meets the safety standards of federal motor vehicles.
This problem can be traced back to improper software programming, because “the central information display unit may be transferred from reverse to other drives in the position of other drives within a certain period of time. If the gearbox is converted to reverse after displaying the error here, then the gearbox is converted to reverse, then then The screen is kept black instead of displaying reverse camera views.
Honda noticed this problem last October, and did not know any collapse, damage or warranty claims related to the issue. The owner will notify the owner in March that the dealer will replace the entire information and entertainment system.
