After the sales platform in December 2024, the top 6 Wheeler brands witnessed huge sales growth in January 2025. Sales in the domestic market also grew as well as mothers’ sales. Exports also showed positive results.

India’s six leading two Wheeler brands showed strong sales growth. In January 2025, total sales were 14,49,400 units, an increase of 2.35% in unit sales in January 2024. This is related to an increase of 33,304 units. Mom’s sales showed a double-digit increase of 37.36%. By comparison, compared to the 10,55,206 units sold in December 2024. Honda currently commands 27.80% of its shares in this list. As demand for electric two-wheelers continues to grow, Honda marks its entry with the new Activa e: and QC1.

Domestic sales of TV electric motors also increased the annual rate and mom to 2,93,860 units, while Bajaj Auto fell 11.40% to 1,71,299 units in January 2025. Although Hero Motorcycle is the number one seller in the domestic market, Bajaj Auto’s export rankings are top. Bajaj sold 1,57,114 units worldwide in January 2025, with a price of 36.74% from 1,14,898 units sold in January 2024. Mom’s sales also increased by 9.23% from 1,43,838 units in 1224 by 6 OEMs.

TVS exports grew to 93,811 units, a year-on-year increase of 52.03%. This exceeded 61,704 units exported in January 2024. However, mothers’ exports fell by 3.21% from 98,927 units shipped in December 2024. Taking into account the domestic sales and exports of these six two Wheeler manufacturers, sales are 18,03,857 units. This is an increase of 8.46% compared to 16,63,127 units of sales in January 2024. Mom’s sales rose 29.47%, while 13,39,254 shipments were shipped in December 2024. This is related to the increase in the amount of 4,10,603 units.

No. 1 is Honda, with 24.66% unit sales of 4,44,847. The second is Hero Motocorp, with 4,42,873 units total sales showing 2.14% year-on-year and 36.38% MOM growth, and 24.55% in this list. In the third and fourth positions are TV and Bajaj Auto. TV sales were 3,87,671 units, while Bajaj’s total sales were 3,28,413 units. Both witnessed Yoy and her mom’s growth. The lower sales list is Suzuki, which surpassed 100,000 units with a total unit sales of 1,08,921 and Enfield’s unit sales of 91,132.
