This model inherits the XUV700’s advanced secondary ADAS technology, including forward collision warning (FCW), automatic emergency braking (AEB), lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, intelligent driving and other functional assistance, traffic signs Identification and driver fatigue detection.

In terms of powertrain options, base MX1, MX2 PRO, MX3 and AX5 models are equipped with a 109-horsepower, 1.2-liter turbo-gasoline engine, with a choice of six-speed manual transmission or six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The 115-horsepower, 1.5-liter turbodiesel engine is also available with a six-speed manual or a six-speed AMT gearbox. AX5L and premium models, meanwhile, are powered by a more powerful 129bhp, 1.2-litre turbocharged direct-injection petrol engine, mated to either a six-speed manual gearbox or an Aisin-produced six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

The Sonet comes with a choice of three engines: a 114bhp, 1.5-litre turbodiesel producing 250Nm of torque; a 118bhp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol producing 170Nm of torque; and an 82bhp, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol producing 115Nm. meters of torque.
