5 New electric SUVs to be around in India – Maruti to

As five new models are waiting for the upcoming launch

Up to five new electric vehicles in the medium and compact segments will arrive in India within the next two to three months, and we have already previewed what you have prepared:

1. MarutiSuzuki and Vitara:

Maruti Suzuki will soon launch the E Vitara and offer two battery pack options. For sale through NEXA sockets, the basic Delta trim will be exclusively equipped with a 48.8 kWh battery. Meanwhile, spec Zeta and high-end Alpha variants will allow customers to choose between 48.8 kWh and larger battery configurations. Promising a driving range of more than 500 kilometers, it will also boast a range of advanced features such as a Level 2 ADA, a digital instrument cluster, a large touch screen infotainment system and feature-tuned driver seats.

2. TataHarrier EV:

The Tata Harrier EV appears in Bharat Mobility Global in 2025 in the final production-ready form, indicating its release is on the horizon. The electric SUV is equipped with a 75 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, and a single charge will provide a driving range of more than 500 kilometers. Tata has confirmed that it will have a dual-motor all-wheel drive system that provides peak torque of 500 nm.

3. Kia EV6 facelift:

The modified Kia EV6 is also shown in Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, which will enter the Indian market in the coming months. The updated version has a larger 84 kWh battery pack that promises to expand driving range. It also comes with a revised look to make the look more attractive. Inside, the cabin has undergone a major upgrade thanks to the addition of a new two-spoke steering wheel and fingerprint readers for other elements.

4. MahindraXuv 3xo EV:

Test mules are often found, Mahindra & Mahindra is expected to launch the XUV 3XO EV in the coming months. The compact electric SUV sits under the XUV400 in the brand’s lineup and may offer two battery options. Its arrival will allow it to compete directly with the Tata Punch EV, further exacerbating the growing battle in the electric SUV space.

5. MGWindsor Ev LR:

MG is preparing to introduce three new models in the coming months. Network machines, electric sports cars and M9 MPVs will be available through the brand’s recently launched premium sockets. Additionally, the Windsor EV will be available in a remote version, offering an extended driving range of up to 460 kilometers, provided by a large 50 kWh battery pack. It will also have faster charging speeds.
