5 special editions launched in India ahead of the festival

Several prominent carmakers in India including Hyundai, Honda, Maruti Suzuki and Skoda have launched special edition models of their popular cars to create excitement ahead of the festive season. Each special edition showcases innovation and exclusivity, with attractive color schemes, interior upgrades and enhanced features. Whether you’re looking to buy a sporty hatchback or a sophisticated SUV, there are plenty of options to choose from this festive season. Let’s explore the top 5 special editions launched in India.

Hyundai Creta Rider Edition

The modern Creta Knight Edition is based on the S(O) and SX(O) variants. It comes in an all-black design and is priced between Rs 14.51 lakh and Rs 20.15 lakh (ex-showroom). Externally, the Cavalier Edition differs from the standard model by an all-black grille, badging, C-pillar trim, front and rear skid plates, sill trim, ORVMs, spoiler and 17-inch alloy wheels (with red brake calipers). Inside, it sports an all-black theme with brass accents throughout the dashboard. The Creta Knight version is available with two powertrain options: a 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine. It is not available with the turbo petrol engine option.

Kia Sonet, Seltos, Carens gravity version

Kia has launched the Gravity Edition of Sonet, Seltos and Carens models in India with starting prices of Rs 10.50 lakh, Rs 16.63 lakh and Rs 12.10 lakh respectively. Exclusive badges add a host of high-end amenities such as a dash cam, wireless phone charger and ventilated front seats. These features vary by model.

The Sonet Gravity Edition (1.2-litre petrol MT/1-litre turbo-petrol iMT/1.5-litre diesel MT) is based on the mid-spec HTK Plus variant and is priced at Rs 48,000 more. On the other hand, the Seltos Gravity Edition (1.5-litre petrol MT or CVT/1.5-litre diesel MT) is priced at a whopping Rs 1.25 lakh and is based on the higher-spec HTX model. Last but not least, the Carens Gravity Edition (1.5-litre petrol MT/1.5-litre turbo-petrol iMT/1.5-litre diesel MT) is priced at Rs 1.04 lakh more than the regular version. It is based on the lower-spec Premium (O) model.

Modern Venue Adventure Edition

The Venue Adventure Edition is priced starting at Rs 10.15 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in S(O), SX and SX(O) variants and is priced at Rs 16,000 more than the standard price.

In terms of design, the SUV gets new Ranger Khaki exterior trim, alloy wheels with red brake calipers, skid plates and a blackened front grille. It gets a black interior instead of the standard Venue’s two-tone black and gray. Other touches include unique seats in Adventure Edition fabric, sage green highlights, new 3D carpeting and sporty metal pedals.

In terms of features, the SUV adds a dash cam with two cameras. Powertrain options for the Adventure Edition include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1-litre turbo-petrol.

Maruti Suzuki Station Wagon R Waltz Edition

The Waltz version of the Wagon R is available in Lxi, Vxi and Zxi variants with prices starting at Rs 5.65 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with various exterior and interior enhancements such as chrome grille, side skirts, wheel arch cladding, fog lamp accents, body side moldings, designer floor mats, new seat covers, 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system and reverse parking Camera. The hatchback is available in 1-litre and 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine options. CNG powertrains are also available.

Honda Elevate Apex Edition

The Honda Elevate Apex Edition features several exterior and interior enhancements, such as piano black trim under the doors, Apex Edition logos on the fenders and tailgate, ivory and black interior trim, and Apex Edition-specific seats. Fabric and cushions. The limited-edition model is based on the mid-spec V and VX variants and is priced between Rs 12.86 lakh and Rs 15.25 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
