In the next few years, Hyundai plans to greatly expand its compact lineup by introducing up to five new products
Hyundai Automobile is doing major overhauls for the compact vehicle lineups of the next two to three years. One of the highlights is the second -generation venue. It is expected to debut for the first time later this year and will use major updates to maintain its appeal. Another new increase is an SUV inspired by Hyundai Barton, combining the practical and fashionable design of its European siblings to suitable for India’s preferences. In addition, Hyundai Motors is developing a compact electric SUV to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles. The following is an overview of the five compact models to be launched:
1.2 and 3. Modern Intsters EV, 10 EV and location EV:
It is said that Hyundai is developing an entry -level electric compact SUV. It is expected to debut for the first time in 2026 and may draw inspiration from the global InSer EV. This new model aims to strengthen competitors such as Tata Punch EV (TATA PUNCH EV) and the upcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO EV with the extended electric vehicle market. In addition, it is expected that Hyundai will introduce electric variants of Grand I10 NIOS and venues, which may arrive in 2027 or later.
4. Hyundai Barton SUV:
The upcoming Bayon inspirational SUV is expected to be a slot below four meters, and it is strategically positioned between the venue and Creta in the lineup. With a unique design, it may borrow various functions and power assembly options from the upcoming second -generation venue. However, this new compact SUV may still have a few years away from dealers.

On the basis of the conference venue successfully, the upcoming SUV is expected to provide more spacious cabin and upgraded function kits, positioning it as a powerful competitor to Syros. Internationally, Bayon is based on the I20 platform, and the new model may provide a similar foundation for it.
5. New modern location:
Modern plans to introduce the next generation of venues later this year or 2026, which aims to be based on the success of the current model. The new venue is expected to be known for its extensive functional set. It is expected to redesign external and upgraded interior, thereby further improving its attractiveness in the field of competitive compact SUVs.
