1. New Maruti Suzuki Baleno:
Codenamed YTA, the next-generation Maruti Suzuki Baleno is expected to be launched in India next year. In addition to visual revisions and interior updates, it may also come with the long-speculated powerful hybrid petrol engine. The in-house developed system, which could employ range-extender-like technology, is said to be capable of achieving fuel economy in excess of 30km/l using the 1.2-litre Z12E petrol engine.
2. Maruti Suzuki Fronx facelift:
A Fronx facelift is also reportedly in the works and will debut sometime next year. The updated compact SUV coupe is more likely to receive significant upgrades, including the introduction of the newly developed strong hybrid petrol engine we mentioned above. The five-seat model has already been well-received by customers, and it will be interesting to see how the updated model performs.

The mid-size electric SUV will be available in two battery options and is said to have a range of over 450 kilometers per charge. The brand is determined to launch more zero-emission cars in the coming years, and an affordable electric hatchback based on the eWX concept may play a high profile role.
