- Amazon has released a new trailer for The Grand Tour: One For The Road.
- The final episode will air on September 13 and will be the last time Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond will host the motoring show together.
- They will travel through Zimbabwe in a Lancia Montecarlo, a Triumph Stag and a Ford Capri.
The Grand Tour will officially end on September 13, and Amazon is going all out to promote the show. As part of the hype, they’ve released a new trailer that reveals a little more about what’s to come in the final episode.
In the roughly three-minute video, we can see Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond travelling around Zimbabwe and reminiscing about the past 22 years. The hosts seemed grateful, with Clarkson saying he would “definitely miss doing things like this”.

Nostalgia aside, we see the trio doing their usual antics. In this episode, they’re riding in a Lancia Montecarlo, a Triumph Stag, and a troubled Ford Capri. The latter is a “real car,” not the Volkswagen ID.5 that’s now masquerading as a Capri.
The video goes on to show the host transporting vehicles using boats and apparently modifying them to run on train tracks. We can also see a Volkswagen New Beetle being destroyed, though no context is given.
Of course, this is part of the appeal of the show. The details are not important, because what is more important is the experience and relationship of the three hosts. They have a lot of fun, and so does the audience.
While One For The Road marks the end of an era, Clarkson, Hammond and May still have plenty of projects to keep them busy, including Clarkson’s Farm and DriveTribe.
