The roof projection is oval, with a long axis of 268m, a short axis of 220m, a giant arch height of 129m, a span of 330m, and an inclination of 6.1° with the vertical line on the ground 46 cables of different lengths. adopt a segmented tension scheme to achieve the overall force balance.
With a retractable roof covering 10,076.2 square meters, it is the largest retractable roof in China and has 50,000 auditorium seats. The stadium’s curtain wall is inclined outward at 28°, and the 12,500 special-shaped artificial stones have different specifications, showing different facade effects at different times and under different lighting. The stadium has the largest opening and closing roof in China and is a comprehensive building integrating sports competitions, national fitness, leisure and entertainment.
