Major e-commerce platforms like Flipkart and Amazon have been selling scooters and motorcycles with attractive bank offers and discounts
Recently, Hero MotoCorp has been selling its products on major e-commerce platforms like Flipkart. Being one of the most popular platforms, Flipkart’s portal is expected to boost sales and make car buying more seamless. One of the great benefits of buying cars on Flipkart is that you can avail discounts of up to Rs 21,000 on Hero bikes and scooters. Thanks to car enthusiast Ankit Sharma for sharing this update.
Hero bikes and scooters Flipkart discounts
As India’s leading 2W manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp needs no introduction. It is a sales giant in India and has been leading the industry for a long time. The company’s advancement on e-commerce portals is commendable and it has been maintaining a presence on Flipkart.
In most cases, cars are not considered as investments. Instead, they are known as depreciating assets. But what if you could save up to Rs 21,000 on the purchase of new Hero scooters and motorcycles? Pretty tempting, isn’t it? The best part about this offer is that it is legal and has been around for a while.
Depending on the motorcycle or scooter, you can save up to Rs 21,000 on Hero vehicles purchased on Flipkart. This is thanks to the deep discounts offered by Flipkart, as well as bank offers on select credit and debit cards. Typically, Flipkart Axis Bank cards usually get more discounts than other cards.
Hero MotoCorp and a few other brands like Bajaj and Ola have launched their cars on Flipkart. Unlike other brands, Hero sells most of its products through Flipkart. The difference in online and offline prices for Hero products ranges between Rs 3,014 and Rs 21,015.
Which one offers the highest discount?
While the actual discount on economy commuter and ICE scooters is less than Rs 7,500, Hero’s premium portfolio and Vida electric scooters are seeing higher discounts. The Hero Xtreme 125R is seeing discounts of up to Rs 8,550. The Xpulse 200T is seeing the lowest discount in the premium lineup at Rs 7,012.
Other notable discounted motorcycles include the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V (discount of Rs 10,016), Xpulse 200 4V (discount of Rs 13,661), Karizma XMR 210 (discount of Rs 15,170), and Mavrick 440 (discount of Rs 19,450). Interestingly, the Hero Vida V1 Pro has the highest discount of Rs 21,045, which is quite attractive.
The traditional perception of buying a car in a showroom after PDI is still strong among buyers. This could be the reason why many buyers do not prefer online platforms to buy cars. This trend could catch on in the future and Bajaj recently took a bigger step by launching its Chetak scooter as an Amazon exclusive.
Notes – The prices mentioned in the article are those displayed on the Flipkart Motorcycle and Scooter landing page. Actual prices may vary depending on the model and colour as well as prevailing offers and discounts.
