— Toyota is recalling certain 2023-2024 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid SUVs because the brake pedal may be difficult to depress when turning.
About 51,000 vehicles are being recalled, including about 42,000 in the United States and 5,600 in Canada.
The recalled Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrids were manufactured between June 2022 and September 2024 and may take longer to stop once the brake pedal becomes difficult to depress.
Toyota released no details about the recall, other than to say dealers will update the programming of the brake actuator’s anti-skid control ECU software.
Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid recall letters will be mailed by the end of November 2024.
Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid owners can call 800-331-4331.
