Bear Grylls and RealTruck unveil SEMA-ified Toyota Tacoma

The trucks will be featured on Bear Grylls’ Adventure Garage, which starts airing next year

  • Bear Grylls and RealTruck launched two modified pickup trucks for the SEMA show.
  • The F-150 and Tacoma get a variety of upgrades, including sport bars, a lifted suspension, and a heavy-duty front bumper.
  • Both trucks will appear in an upcoming TV show Bear Grylls’ Adventure Garage.

The countdown to the SEMA show continues as Bear Grylls and RealTruck team up to build rugged versions of the Ford F-150 and Toyota Tacoma. The purpose of both is to promote Bear Grylls’ Adventure Garagewhich will begin broadcasting in 2025.

The trucks, which will debut on November 7, are built by the Superlift Suspension team under the direction of Grylls. While the company hasn’t released a full build list, the 2024 Tacoma comes with a variety of accessories from various RealTruck brands.

In particular, you can see the RealTruck Sport Bar equipped with Go Rhino Xplor auxiliary lights. They also feature a beefy front bumper, considerable lift, and Raceline wheels wrapped in chunky tires. The truck also comes with aftermarket floor mats and tools.

The 2021 Ford F-150 follows a similar strategy, but looks more extreme. It features Bushwacker fenders, Go Rhino Element front bumper, and Dominator Xtreme DT side steps. They are connected by sports bars, roof rails and auxiliary lights.

Speaking of the latter, there’s a hood-mounted LightShield Pro light strip. We can also see the suspension which appears to be lifted.

As for Bear Grylls’ Adventure Garagewhich is billed as an “exciting TV series” that follows the famous explorer as he enters the world of extreme vehicle modifications. Details are limited, but each episode will focus on converting a vehicle into something “perfectly suited to the mission’s adventure—whether it’s the scorching sands of Dubai, the rugged Grand Canyon, or a custom-built vehicle for humanitarian partners working in Africa.”
