However, this model was equipped with twin four-cylinder 283 engines delivering 270 horsepower, which was quite unusual for the economy-minded businessman.
Is it fair to assume that the original owner, with racing intentions, ordered the lightest Chevrolet with the second-hottest engine in the range? At Barrett-Jackson’s 2024 Scottsdale Fall Auction, the bow tie found a new owner for $41,800.
