- The electric pickup truck has a pair of massive 26-inch wheels covered with 35-inch tires.
- Despite the new fenders, the OEM charging port remains.
- There’s no word yet on how much the upgraded wheels will reduce the truck’s mileage.
A ton of Tesla Cybertrucks came to Las Vegas for SEMA last week, but the one that stood out the most was a store in Florida you’ve probably never heard of: Reds Miami. It built the world’s first dual-cylinder Cybertruck, which is bound to divide opinion.
var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:()}; adpushup.que.push(function() { if (adpushup.config.platform !== “DESKTOP”) { adpushup.triggerAd(“4d84e4c9 -9937-4f84-82c0-c94544ee6f2a”); } else{ adpushup.triggerAd(“6a782b01-facb-45f3-a88f-ddf1b1f97657”);
Normally, dual setups are limited to heavy-duty pickup trucks, but considering all the buzz around the Cybertruck, it was only a matter of time before someone decided to put two extra wheels on the rear. Just days before SEMA, Tesla’s polarizing pickup truck was converted into a dual vehicle.

The new wheels chosen by Tesla are produced by Diesel Wheels, with a rear wheel size of 26 inches and a tire size of 35 inches. A custom set of fenders then had to be made for the electric car, and to our surprise, they actually fit the Tesla’s design perfectly.
var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:()}; adpushup.que.push(function() { if (adpushup.config.platform !== “DESKTOP”) { adpushup.triggerAd(“5646c171 -cb6e-4e2c-8440-49013ca72758”); } else { adpushup.triggerAd(“e7c4c913-3924-4b2d-9279-6c00984dd130”);
However, there’s more to this project than just bolting on extra wheels and new arches. As standard, the Cybertruck’s charging port is located on the driver’s side rear wheel arch, so new cables had to be run to accommodate the flared fenders. The Tesla also comes with rear-wheel steering. Apparently, this feature is retained, although we suspect the extra weight of the two extra 26-inch wheels might put a little extra strain on the system.
Then there’s scope. Putting huge wheels on an electric vehicle can have a significant impact on range, as can all-terrain tires. There’s no word yet on how much the Cybertruck’s range has been reduced, but for some, any reduction in range will be worth it for the wild looks.
