Honda Activa e specifications, production and launch details:

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) will launch the ACTIVA e: and QC1 models in early 2025. Bookings for these electric scooters will begin on January 1, 2025, with deliveries scheduled to begin in February 2025. Both scooters will be manufactured at HMSI’s Narsapura plant near Bengaluru, Karnataka. Initial availability will be limited to Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, with distribution through selected HMSI dealers.

ACTIVA e: uses a dual replaceable battery system, each with a capacity of 1.5 kWh. This configuration can travel 102 kilometers per charge. It is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a peak power of 6kW and a torque of 22Nm. The top speed is 80 km/h, and it only takes 7.3 seconds to accelerate from 0-60 km/h. Riding modes include economical, standard and sporty to meet different urban commuting needs.

Honda QC1, 80 km range: a compact solution for urban needs

QC1 uses a fixed battery system with a capacity of 1.5kWh and can travel 80 kilometers per charge. It uses in-wheel electric motors that produce a peak power of 1.8 kW and a torque of 77 Nm. The scooter has a top speed of 50 km/h and has two riding modes: Standard and Eco. It takes 4 hours and 30 minutes to charge 0-80%, and 6 hours and 50 minutes to fully charge.

ACTIVA e: Equipped with a 7.0-inch TFT display and supports Honda RoadSync Duo, providing seamless smartphone integration. The QC1 features a 5.0-inch LCD display and additional practical elements such as a USB Type-C socket and 26 liters of under-seat storage. Both models focus on enhancing user convenience and connectivity during the ride.

Battery replacement or home charging? Honda covers both

Honda’s “Operation Triple Zero” initiative reflects its focus on carbon neutrality, clean energy and resource recycling. The Honda Activa e: and QC1 play a key role in advancing these goals.

To support the launch of its electric vehicles, Honda has established Power Pack Exchanger e: stations in Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai. These charging stations facilitate quick replacement of ACTIVA e: batteries, minimizing user downtime. The QC1’s stationary battery requires regular charging and is suitable for users with home charging facilities.

Color options, warranty and service

ACTIVA e: Available in five dynamic colors: Pearl Light Blue, Pearl Mist White, Pearl Serenity Blue, Matte Mist Silver Metallic and Pearl Igneous Black. These options enhance its appeal to urban commuters looking for style and functionality.

Both scooters come with a comprehensive three-year or 50,000km warranty, ensuring long-term reliability. Customers also receive three free services in the first year, along with free roadside assistance for the same period, reinforcing Honda’s focus on customer satisfaction.
