Business shines at New York Vet Show

More than 2,300 delegates attended this year’s New York Vet Show.

NEW YORK CITY – This year’s New York Vet Show, held Nov. 7-8 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, includes four clinical tracks, a business and hands-on operations room, a veterinary technician track and sponsorships business-led seminars.

More than 2,300 delegates attended the CloserStill Media show, a 21% increase from 1,800 delegates in 2023. 52% of them were participating for the first time.

An impressive statistic is that 80% of the 202 exhibitors have rebooked their stands for 2025. “It’s exciting that not only are so many people happy with the event, but many are expanding their footprint to accommodate our growing audience,” said Joe Events Director Kowalski.

“This year, while all categories saw growth across the board, our biggest growth came from the Vet and Practice Owner categories. For most of our exhibitors and sponsors, these are the two most important categories on site because they can influence a clinic’s final purchasing decision. Looking forward to 2025, these will continue to be the areas of greatest concern and investment,” said Kowalsky.

Many people commented on the energy of the show floor. “It may be a small thing but for me one of the highlights of this show that keeps me going is the DJ we have added this year. It adds a nice energy to the event venue and welcomes the audience with open arms to join them in the celebration activity,” Kowalski said.

There are also a variety of experience activities. “We are also focusing on mental health and physical wellness, adding pickleball courts to this year’s event as well as a vet show spa with free massages,” Kowalski said.

The 2024 New York Vet Show offers pickleball courts and other amenities to promote physical and mental health.

But for many, the biggest highlight is the content. “We’ve partnered with Clinicalian’s Brief to provide clinical content and Veterinary Practice News and NAVTA to provide veterinary technical content to take things to another level this year and provide our attendees with insights into the situations they are currently facing. information needed,” Kowalsky said.

New York Vet was launched in 2016. “Over the past two years, we have worked together as a team to make NY Vet a community hub for veterinary professionals in the Northeast and beyond. In 2025, we will work hard to build on last year’s amazing momentum with the goal of making NY Vet our A must-attend event for everyone in the industry. We have something special happening right now, and our team has fully embraced the ‘go big, go all out’ mantra,” said Kowalski.
