Porsche 911 S/T owner lets factory play ‘your mother’ joke

  • A Porsche 911 S/T owner just took delivery of his new six-figure supercar.
  • He also had Porsche incorporate several interesting custom scripts throughout the car.
  • From the outside, the building, which likely cost more than $300,000, looks unassuming.

The Porsche 911 S/T is a truly special car, and its price reflects that—it starts at $290,000 before you even think about checking off any of the myriad options, let alone factoring in potential markups. The S/T was created as a homage to the 911 itself, essentially combining the best parts of the GT3 with a manual gearbox and styling more suited to the road than the track. Now, one owner has taken that relaxed attitude and allowed Porsche to incorporate it even further into the cabin.

var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:()}; adpushup.que.push(function() { if (adpushup.config.platform !== “DESKTOP”){ adpushup.triggerAd(“0f7e3106 -c4d6-4db4-8135-c508879a76f8”); } else { adpushup.triggerAd(“82503191-e1d1-435a-874f-9c78a2a54a2f”);

The owner received a spec on December 2 which he called ABE or “All Black Errything (sic)”. To that end, the car gets black paint, dark badging, dark center-lock wheels, black brake calipers and black interior. In fact, it’s in the cabin that this car is uniquely fun.

The owner, who goes by the name Sechsgang on Rennlist, said he added humor for “good effect.” What does this sense of humor look like, in practice? Well, the driver’s side door sill says “Life, Laugh, Love.” While your personal take on this sentiment may be unique, in general circles it’s viewed as a somewhat meaningless three-sentence statement. In other cases, it’s a red flag.

var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:()}; adpushup.que.push(function() { if (adpushup.config.platform !== “DESKTOP”){ adpushup.triggerAd(“0f7e3106 -c4d6-4db4-8135-c508879a76f8”); } else { adpushup.triggerAd(“82503191-e1d1-435a-874f-9c78a2a54a2f”);

But what’s even funnier is that Sechsgang had Porsche write “Your Mom” on the 911’s passenger side door sill. I’m sure we don’t need to explain this joke. These aren’t the only unique sayings in the car, either. “Elbow Here” is engraved on the center console.

Notably, the option to add custom carbon fiber rocker panels is only $1,510, and buyers can write almost anything they want. Some offensive names and phrases will be automatically rejected, but beyond that, buyers could theoretically get Porsche to write something like “cash grab.” The same goes for center console embossing, which costs less at $670.

Technically, owners can customize other parts that we can’t see here. These include floor mats, keys, and even the owner’s manual. A lot of people who spend that kind of money on cars aren’t really funny at heart. It’s great to see at least one property owner completely opposed to this approach. For that, sir, we salute you!
