Although the mechanicals are the same as the European version, the India-spec eVitara is expected to get some cosmetic changes and unique color options
A few weeks ago, Suzuki launched its first mass-market electric car, the eVitara, in Milan, Italy. Apart from the Indian market, eVitara will also be launched in various regions around the world including the European Union and Japan. The Maruti Suzuki eVitara will be produced at the company’s plant in Gujarat.
eVitara launches first trailer in India
eVitara has completed its European debut and is now gearing up for its Indian debut. Maruti Suzuki has now officially teased the eVitara which will make its debut at the Bharat Mobile World Expo 2025 next month.

This will include home charging solutions as well as horse charging Nationwide network of fast chargers available at Ruti Suzuki dealers and service touch points Our aim is to make electric mobility accessible, convenient and attractive to a wider range of customers and this is exactly what we are aiming to achieve with e VITARA. ”
Maruti Suzuki eVitara performance
The eVitara 4WD setup will be named AllGRIP-e. Users can expect enhanced performance on both on- and off-road trails. A rear drive unit equipped with Trail mode and LSD functionality will be possible. Although there is no official range data provided, it is estimated that the Maruti Suzuki eVitara can travel about 550 kilometers on a full charge. The SUV will support fast charging, allowing users to quickly top up the required range within minutes.
