This unique C6 Corvette stands out for its huge wheels and mud-terrain tires

- Equipped with mud tires and a lift, the Corvette brings sports car style to off-road trails.
- The license plate indicates a four-wheel drive modification, but the drivetrain remains uncertain.
If you own a Chevrolet Corvette, you may have considered modifying and upgrading it. Not only does this iconic American sports car have a huge aftermarket, but it also responds well to adjustments, whether you want to turn it into a drag strip or prepare it for use on the track. However, we’re not sure how the Corvette would respond to various off-road-focused modifications like the one shown in this example.
This rather interesting photo of a ‘Vette was recently shared online, and it’s got to be one of the craziest photos we’ve ever come across. I mean, just look at Those ones wheel.

‘Vette owners raised the car’s ride height and ditched the standard wheels in favor of a set more suitable for a large SUV or pickup truck. These wheels have mud-terrain tires and stick out a few inches from the car’s fenders. Complementing those new wheels with some aftermarket fenders might look pretty good, but, alas, it doesn’t come with any fenders.
As you can see in the Reddit post, the owner also installed eye-catching louvers on the C6’s rear window. Look closely and you might also notice a “Trail Boss” sticker on the rear side panel. The car’s license plate reads “4x4C6,” but it’s unclear whether the car was actually converted to four-wheel drive as indicated on the license plate. It would be much cooler if it did.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a Corvette get a modification like this. Back in August 2022, we brought you the story of a C5-generation ‘Vette that went on sale on Marketplace after lifting the suspension and installing a set of beefy wheels and tires.
