Hyundai Motor to participate in Bharat Mobility Exhibition 2025 (Auto Expo)

Hyundai Motor India, India’s second-largest passenger car maker, will showcase its range of upcoming products and technologies at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 in January. While the debut of the Creta EV and subsequent price announcement on January 17 will be the main highlight of the event, Hyundai’s existing product lineup will also be on display. The automaker may also showcase some of its global products to highlight its technological advancements and capabilities. Official details of Hyundai’s Auto Expo range will be announced in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, we take a look at the key details of the Hyundai Creta EV.

Hyundai Creta EV – the disruptor

this Hyundai Creta electric car It is expected to feature a 45kWh battery pack and a front-axle-mounted electric motor. The electric motor’s power and torque outputs are likely to be 138bhp and 255Nm respectively. This powertrain setup is also used in the Hyundai Kona EV sold globally. The Creta EV is expected to have a range of over 350 kilometers on a single charge.

Inside, the electric Creta will get a new three-spoke steering wheel instead of the flat-bottom steering wheel found in the ICE version. The HVAC controls on the center panel will be borrowed from the new Alcazar. The center console will also be modified to include physical buttons for cooled seats, two cup holders, an automatic hold, an electronic parking brake and a 360-degree camera. The drive selector control will be located near the steering column. The rest of the features will be inherited from the ICE powered Creta.

The Hyundai Creta EV will be based on the updated Creta but will have slightly different looks from its ICE sibling. At the front, the SUV will feature a closed grille, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and newly designed alloy wheels. EV badges will appear on the front and rear of the car.

Next generation venues in the second half of 2025

Hyundai Motor India also plans to launch the next-generation Venue in 2025. However, a new model of this subcompact SUV may be launched in the second half of this year. Major changes are expected inside and out, while engine options are likely to remain unchanged.
