Kia Syros reservation
The concept of a fully functional sub-4m SUV is not new to India. Time and time again, a contender comes out on top only to be overthrown by one of their rivals. This is a self-sustaining cycle that will continue as the segment evolves, trying to satisfy factors such as changing buyer trends.

Mahindra XUV3XO is the latest in the segment and exceeds expectations in terms of features, equipment and premium experience. Now, the Kia Syros is about to be launched in India, promising to offer more than what its rivals currently offer. It will be positioned above the Turbo Petrol variant of the Sonet sub 4m SUV and below the Seltos compact SUV.
Bookings for the Kia Syros will begin after 12 am today with a nominal booking fee of Rs 25,000. Buyers can choose from six trim levels – HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+ and HTX+ (O). There are four powertrain combinations to choose from – G1.0 Turbo Petrol MT, G1.0 Turbo Petrol DCT, 1.5 CRDi MT and 1.5 CRDi AT.

Available in 8 monotone colors – Frost Blue, Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, Intense Red, Imperial Blue, Pewter Olive and Aurora Black Pearl. Depending on the trim level, Kia offers 15-inch steel wheels, 16-inch alloy wheels and 17-inch alloy wheels, as well as four interior color themes and upholstery.
wide choice
Kia has ensured that Syros buyers have a variety of choices in terms of trim, powertrains and colors. As our detailed variant breakdown shows, the HTK+ and HTX trims have the greatest number of powertrain combinations, and are probably the most popular too. Lower trims favor a manual transmission option, while higher trims only offer an automatic transmission option.

From the outside, we see a tall boy’s car emblazoned with Kia’s latest interpretation of the Opposites Unite design language. Its headlights emerge from the wheel arch cladding, similar to what we saw on the Tasman, suggesting width, a side profile reminiscent of its platform sibling the Hyundai Casper, flush door handles, and an L-shaped Unique rear-mounted taillights with LED badging and bumper.
The exterior design may be a bit radical, but the company hopes customers will understand it and support the interior. The Kia Syros promises best-in-class interior space, sliding and reclining rear seats, ventilated front and rear seats, a 30-inch Trinity display sandwiched between two 12.3-inch (the largest in its class) screens A 5-inch climate control screen, dash cam, 360-degree camera, radar-based Level 2 ADAS and many more features.
