Hyundai Creta 1.0 Flex Fuel displayed at the 2025 Auto Expo

Hyundai car carefully showed the Creta Flex Fuel version. In this version, Creta will obtain the function of running on the pure ethanol called E100. This fuel is available in the South American market, where the preference for ethanol power vehicles is very high.

Hyundai Creta 1.0 Flex fuel version is equipped with a smaller 1.0 -liter turbine GDI engine, which can generate 120 horsepower and 172 Nm torque. It sends power to the front wheel through the DCT gearbox. The combination of this engine and gearbox also appeared on Venue and I20. There is no unique feature of modern Creta Flex Fuel version. The only visual change on the engine is the Flex Fuel Technology Badge on the engine! The engine has undergone various internal changes so that it can even use E100 ethanol fuel and the current available E10, E20 and E85 fuels.

The future prospects of India?

Although Hyundai has not disclosed the plan to launch Creta 1.0 Flex Fuel in India, the possibility of ethanol power vehicles is fascinating to an increasingly electrified future. For car buyers and enthusiasts who like internal combustion engine cars and stimulus, switching to the choice of ethanol may become an attractive prospect.

Due to the renewableness of ethanol, it has unlimited possibilities in enjoying internal combustion engines. Not to mention, existing gas stations can easily obtain ethanol fuel, so expenditures in infrastructure have also decreased.
