Why do activity professionals need to give priority to their own well -being

Paco colorzo

THis activity industry has flourished with the mentality of “going, walking, walking”. We are a passionate, driven personal community, and they will break through the boundaries and create unforgettable experiences. However, this fast -paced high -pressure environment may cause huge losses. When we are busy planning spectacular events, do we ignore the most important works of our own happiness?

We are a master of multi -tasking, countless details of juggling, and logistical nightmare with a smile. We have flourished from the energy of on -site activities and the stimulation of the plan to see several months. But behind the scenes, continuous travel, long time and harsh customers can make us feel exhausted and disconnected.

Usually, I feel the feeling of leaving something or someone. If I grow up at work, do I ignore my loved ones? What about my love life? What about my hobby? What about my health?

This is a paradox: we are surrounded by people, but often feel completely lonely. We spent a few weeks on the road, far away from our support system, and missed family dinner and our daily moments. The boundary between work and personal life is blurred. It is easy to ignore our own needs.

The activity industry is notorious for its high burnout rate. We hope that we can always continue and always prepare to deal with the next challenge. However, even the most elastic people in us have restrictions.

It’s time to break the stigma around mental health and acknowledge that we are not invincible. We need to start with priority to consider self -care, not afterwards, but as unsuccessful people. Here are some starting ideas:

Establish a routine on the road: pack your exercise equipment, find healthy meals to choose and determine sleep priority. Even small efforts will cause great differences. This is as easy as making 20 push -ups or 15K steps.

Set the digital boundary: when the connection is disconnected. Close the notice, establish a “no -phone” time, and then restore the party.

Establish contact with your staff: establish a support network with colleagues who understand the unique challenges facing the incident life. Share your struggle, celebrate your victory, and rely on each other.

Find your exit: Whether it’s running, yoga, meditation or just listening to music, you can find activities to help you reduce stress and charging.

Seeking professional support: If you are struggling, please contact the therapist or counselor at any time. Psychological health is as important as physical health.

We are extraordinary architects. Let us start to establish a healthier and more sustainable future for ourselves and our industry. The show must continue, but it can continue with the happier and healthier actors and staff.
