
Good news! Dacia Duster is coming to Australia, and it will arrive in the second half of 2025 – but without the badge of the Romanian brand.

Duster is for sale in the UK at Dacia and retails between £18,850 ($37,500) and £23,850 ($47,400).
The Renault Duster will be available in Australia and will be available in two powertrain configurations.
The first is a version of the petrol engine already used in the Renault Captur and Arkana – a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 113kW and 250nm, sent to the front wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission.
A four-wheel drive version will also be available, powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder light hybrid for 96kW and 230nm, and comes with a six-speed manual transmission.
European market models are also available in 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinders, made from a 50-liter petrol tank or a 50-LPG storage tank, where drivers can switch between them, and a 1.6-liter four-cylinder hybrid. However, these powertrains do not limit our shores.
Australia will offer two model levels and seven body types.
The Duster measures 4345mm, 1921mm wide (2069mm, mirror extension) and 1650mm high, on a wheelbase of 2657mm.
In the context, the five-door Suzuki Jimny XL is 500mm shorter and is nearly narrow, but also 70mm taller, while running on the wheelbase is only 67mm.
Although full specs have not been revealed yet, Renault Australia has confirmed that the local market duster will be equipped with internal features including a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, and Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
Renault sells the Duster as a pint-sized off-road vehicle, so the four-wheel drive version also offers five drive modes, as well as a hillside down control system.
All Dusters are equipped with an advanced driver assistance system (ADA) including automatic emergency braking, driver attention alert, traffic sign recognition, lane assistance, blind spot warning and external cameras.
