While retaining the engine options, Kia Carens Facelift will see new features borrowed from the recently launched Syros SUV

Kia Carens is one of the popular MPVs in India, contributing over 20% of the company’s overall sales. The refurbished model should expire and has been discovered several times in recent months. The latest sighting is from Hyderabad near Jntu College Metro Station. Let’s take a closer look at the various updates.

2025 Kia Carens Makeup – What new features are there?

The revised front fascia, new lighting elements and updated rear are one of the key expectations of the Carrence facelift, which can be seen in spy shots attributed to car enthusiast Rahul. The spy in the test car wore heavy camouflage, but some hints of potential changes can be seen.

As seen with Kia’s newer models, such as the EV5, the lighting setup promises a compelling makeover. The star LED element with triangle headlights is expected to add more power to the overall appearance of the MPV. The side profile changes relatively little compared to the front and rear. Newer, more robust designs for alloy wheels can be used.

Other features such as body cladding, door side molding, conventional door handles, and blackened A, B and C pillars will continue from the current model. At the rear, the Carens Facelift is expected to switch to vertically stacked taillights. There is also a hint of interconnected LED bands. The bumper section can also be refreshed to make the appearance more polished.

New features

Internally, Kia Carens Facelift will make a lot of upgrades to the device list. For increased safety, the facelifted model is expected to receive an ADA. Siblings Hyundai Alcazar already comes with an ADA. This security upgrade will provide Carens with stronger leverage to fight the Maruti Suzuki XL6. The security suite will be confirmed by spy shooting, adding a 360° camera.

Karens has already provided a safe experience with Cocoon, with 6 bounces, vehicle stability management and electronic stability control. There is Hill start assist control, rear parking sensor and camera, downhill brake control and tire pressure monitoring system. User comfort can be improved through ventilated second row seats. The MPV has already provided front ventilated seats.

Features borrowed from the Syros SUV are expected to be enhanced in the cockpit experience. For example, Carens Facelift can get a 30-inch Trinity panoramic display. It includes a 12.3-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system and a 12-inch LCD instrument panel. There is also a 5-inch display for fully automatic air conditioning control.

Same powertrain options

Kia Carens Facelift will continue to use existing powertrain options. The 1.5-liter NA petrol engine produces 115 ps and 144 nm of torque. It offers a 6-speed manual transmission. The 1.5-liter turbo gasoline unit produces 160 ps and 253 nm. Transmission selections include 6IMT and 7DCT. The 1.5-liter diesel produces 116 ps and 250 nm. It cooperates with 6MT or 6AT transmissions. Kia is also working on the Carens EV, which is expected to be launched after the Carens Ice model.
