Hyatt Regency Deer ValleyIt is expected to open in November 2024 and welcomes two leaders to its opening team.
Duggan will serve as General Manager. With over 25 years of experience and passion for hospitality and global travel, he is known for his ability to drive operational performance and lead teams with strong employee engagement and excellent guest satisfaction ratings. He has worked for some of the world’s leading luxury hotel brands, including InterContinental, Fairmont and more.
Richardson will serve as Director of Sales, Marketing and Events. Her career to date has included stints at world-class resorts including Carmel Valley Ranch, Hyatt Regency Maui and Waikiki Marriott. She is an expert in developing successful sales and marketing strategies in the luxury hotel industry with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and cultivating strong guest relationships.
Alex Carvalho
After 11 years at Kaiser Permanente as senior event manager for national sales events, Carvalho joined Pacific Gas and Electric (Pacific Gas & Electric Company) as Corporate Events Team Manager. She will use her extensive events expertise to lead the Corporate Events team and contribute to Pacific Gas & Electric’s goals of serving our homeland, serving the planet and providing safe, reliable and clean energy throughout California.

Frank Verrilli
Global Event and Experiential Marketing Agency Impact XM Verrilli has been promoted from the position of Vice President of New Business Development to Senior Vice President of New Business Development. He will continue to lead new business initiatives, explore future opportunities and build new client partnerships. In addition, he will continue to lead the development and execution of strategic sales action plans while overseeing the entire new business pipeline.

Janelle Davis
Davis was appointed BroadmoorWith over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she will leverage that experience to enhance the sales team’s commitment to excellence and innovation, leading the team in developing new strategies and programs to leverage sales growth initiatives and guest experience. She previously served as National Account Director for the Fontainebleau Miami Beach for over 15 years.
Fred Sawyer
Evermore Orlando Resort We welcome Sawyers to the role of Managing Director, where he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the resort. He has successfully operated Disney-area resorts for two well-known hotel brands over the past decade. He has extensive experience and a deep understanding of the Orlando market and has led a diverse range of resort complexes.
Geoffrey Church
Church is Visit BerkeleyHe is the organization’s second CEO, following Barbara Hillman, who held the position in 1992 and is now retired. Born and raised in California, Church is a UC Berkeley alumnus. He previously served as director of partnership development for Berkeley Tourism and has proven himself to be an accomplished leader who has strong relationships with local leaders.
Francisco Macedo
Iconic Luxury Hotel – International has promoted Macedo to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Asset Management. Formerly General Manager of Cliveden House and Group Operations Director of Iconic Luxury Hotels, Macedo will work with the executive team to help shape the company’s future growth plans and will continue to manage Cliveden House.
Bruce Rosenberg
Rosenberg was appointed Rusty Parrot Inn and SpaHe will be responsible for overseeing staff across all departments. He is new to the hospitality industry but has extensive experience in customer service leadership positions and is passionate about creating an environment where guest relationships are a priority. As a Jackson Hole resident for over 30 years, he is a local expert and is excited to be a part of a local, family-owned luxury hotel.
Ibrahim Ansari
Ansari serves as Ai Mei Hotel and AC Hotel Denver DowntownHe brings nearly a decade of expertise to the position and has successfully managed operations for numerous hotels across the U.S. He will oversee all operations, focus on developing senior leaders and manage the financial aspects of the hotels, including revenue generation, budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision making.
