Honda Elevate, City and more get discounts up to Rs 30,000

Honda Cars India is offering huge discounts and other benefits on all its models in India till the end of August. The Japanese carmaker recently announced its monthly discount scheme which will be applicable on the Elevate SUV, City and Amaze sedan. To celebrate Independence Day, the carmaker is also offering extra incentives to buyers who choose to buy any model this month. Here is a quick breakdown of how much you can save by buying these Honda cars in August.

Honda Elevate discounts: August 2024

This month, a discount of Rs 65,000 is available on the Elevate SUV. The automaker’s flagship competes with the likes of the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara in the compact SUV segment. Offers include loyalty rewards, exchange and cash discounts. Additionally, Honda is offering three years of free maintenance to Elevate SUV owners. Honda Elevate is available in four trim levels: SV, V, VX and ZX. Except for the base SV model, all versions come with an automatic transmission. Prices of the SUV start at Rs 11.58 lakh and go up to Rs 16.2 lakh. Prices are ex-showroom.

Honda Amaze discounts: August 2024

The biggest discount this month is on Honda Motor India’s smallest car. The Japanese automaker is offering discounts of up to Rs 96,000 to customers of the Amaze sedan. Honda is offering cash benefits, loyalty schemes and exchange rewards on the Amaze till the end of August. Besides, the company is also offering a free three-year maintenance package to buyers who choose to buy the car this month. It competes with super-compact cars like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and the Hyundai Aura. The Amaze is expected to get a major update soon.

Mechanically, the car is offered with a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The latter produces a maximum power of 98 bhp, while the petrol engine produces a maximum power of 89 bhp. A CVT or a five-speed manual gearbox takes care of the transmission duties. The ex-showroom price of the model ranges between Rs 7.93 lakh and Rs 9.86 lakh.

Honda City Discounts: August 2024

Honda is offering discounts of up to Rs 90,000 on its City and City Hybrid sedans for the month of August. The automaker is offering benefits worth Rs 88,000 on the ICE version of the sedan. The offers include cash benefits, exchange and loyalty schemes, among other incentives. Like the Elevate and Amaze, the City and City Hybrid are also offering a three-year free maintenance package this month.

The base price of Honda City is Rs 12.08 lakh while the powerful hybrid version of the sedan is priced at Rs 20.55 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom. The standard Honda City is available in four variants: SV, V, VX and ZX. Mechanically, the 1.5-litre petrol engine that powers the City puts out 145Nm of peak torque and 120bhp of maximum power. The 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle hybrid engine in the powerful hybrid version is claimed to offer a fuel efficiency of 27.13km/l. The model competes with the likes of Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia and Hyundai Verna and has long been the most popular compact sedan in the Indian market.
