Toyota has announced a host of 2025 Tundra updates, including the addition of a new TRD Rally Package. This Baja-inspired version also joins new features to the Tundra lineup, such as massaging seats, a power liftgate with knee lift assist, and a new Tow Tech package for towing.

The 2025 Toyota Tundra lineup includes SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794, TRD Pro, and Capstone grades. In addition, there is an optional TRD Rally package that adds a rally-style feel to the full-size pickup.

Exterior highlights include red, orange and yellow badging (grille, doors and tailgate), a set of 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires and protective skid plates. Colors are limited to four hues – Ice Cap, Magnetic Gray, Midnight Black Metallic and Celestial Silver. Inside, Toyota designers added red, orange and yellow accents on the SofTex upholstered seats and dashboard.

The TRD Rally package comes with Bilstein monotube shocks, an electronically controlled rear differential lock, and the usual Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control systems. These are standard on all Tundras equipped with the TRD Off-Road package, while the TRD Pro upgrades to Fox shocks and a front stabilizer bar.

Also new for the 2025 model year are massaging front seats with 10-way power adjustment, which are standard on 1794, Platinum, and Capstone grades. The SR5 gets an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with power lumbar support. The exterior design remains the same, but Tundra TRD Pro models get new Mudbath sunshades.

The Toyota Tundra is still available in four-door crew cab and CrewMax versions, with trunk lengths ranging from 5.5 feet (1.68 meters) to 8.1 feet (2.47 meters). In addition to the standard power-release tailgate, the 2025 model also offers a new power tailgate option with knee lift assist.

Like most full-size trucks, the Tundra offers a few towing-related features, including the new Tow Tech package. In addition to the Panoramic View Monitor (PVM), it also adds a new wireless trailer camera system as a factory-installed option. The Wi-Fi camera sends a signal to the digital rearview mirror or the 14-inch infotainment display. The truck also comes with power-retractable, folding and heated towing mirrors with LED trailer lights and blind-spot monitoring indicators.

The powertrain lineup carries over from the outgoing Tundra, offering twin-turbocharged V6 and i-Force Max hybrid options. The former makes 389 hp (290 kW / 394 PS) and 479 lb-ft (649 Nm), while the latter makes 437 hp (326 kW / 443 PS) and 583 lb-ft (790 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a ten-speed automatic transmission. The truck has a maximum towing capacity of 12,000 lbs (5,443 kg) and a maximum payload of 1,940 lbs (880 kg).
