Audi India is gearing up to launch its new product, the Q8 facelift, in India tomorrow. The Q8, which made its global debut in September last year, will continue to serve as the brand’s flagship SUV choice in our market. Based on the same Volkswagen MLB Evo platform as the Audi Q8 e-tron, the model is a facelifted version of the Audi Q8 that made its way to the Indian market in 2020. As for the exterior paint, the luxury carmaker will offer eight attractive options: Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Myth Black, Samurai Grey, Glacier White, Satellite Silver, Tamarind Brown, and Alpaca Beige. Ahead of the official launch, Audi India has opened the order books for the 2024 Q8 facelift. Interested customers can book the new Q8 at a symbolic price of Rs 5 lakh through the My Audi Connet app or on the official Audi website.

Audi Q8 facelift: updated exterior
The Audi Q8 facelift made its global debut last year and the update mainly features subtle exterior changes, especially to the lighting package, but no major revisions. The car has a new daytime running light (DRL) signature, a new 2D signature and a revised bumper. In addition, the grille and air intakes have also been revised. The company will offer four unique OLED lighting designs with animated effects. There are five unique wheel styles, ranging in size from 21 inches to 23 inches. When stationary, the facelifted model’s taillights automatically turn on if a vehicle approaches from the rear within 2 meters.
Audi Q8 facelift: cabin layout and features
The Q8 facelift’s interior layout is similar to its predecessor, except for the new trims and color options. Buyers can choose from four interior color schemes: Okapi Brown, Saiga Beige, Black, and Pando Grey. While the cabin is likely to remain similar to the previous generation, Audi may offer new stitching on the interior. Features of the car may include dual MMI touchscreens, Amazon Music and Spotify app compatibility, panoramic sunroof, head-up display, four-zone climate control, electric front seats, multi-color ambient lighting, Bang & Olufsen sound system, and a powered tailgate.
In terms of safety, the upcoming model from the German carmaker is likely to offer ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors, 360-degree camera, multiple airbags, lane change monitor, and enhanced ADAS technology.

Audi Q8 facelift: powertrain options and expected prices
The Indian-spec Audi Q8 facelift will be powered by a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol V6 engine and a 48V mild-hybrid setup. The system produces 335bhp of maximum power and 500Nm of peak torque, with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 5.6 seconds and a top speed of 250km/h. An eight-speed automatic transmission distributes power to all four wheels.
The updated Q8 will be priced slightly higher than its predecessor. For the Indian market, it should be priced between Rs 1.10 crore and Rs 1.30 crore. Both prices are ex-showroom.
