Options include lowered suspension and more Brabus logos in the cabin
- Brabus has unveiled a tuning kit for the most powerful version of the Smart #3.
- The coupe-SUV gets a splitter, a roof spoiler, and bumper extensions.
- The tuner provides a set of 21-inch wheels, as well as lowering springs.
The Smart #3 Brabus may be the performance flagship of the all-electric coupe-SUV range, but who says it can’t attract more attention? German tuner Brabus has unveiled a set of optional components that promise to improve the road performance and aerodynamics of this popular SUV.
Unlike the recent tuning kit for Smart #1, which was designed for the entire range, this extra ‘Brabusness’ is reserved for Smart #3 Brabus Up front, a bold splitter takes centre stage, claimed to reduce lift over the front axle at high speeds – perfect for those eager to impress.

The splitter is paired with sporty extensions on the bumper air intakes to make it look more aggressive. At the rear, Brabus has fitted a larger spoiler and a rear fascia insert that mimics a diffuser, all of which are made from high-grade PUR synthetic material to ensure OEM quality.
Another notable upgrade is the 21-inch Brabus Monoblock Z Platinum Edition alloy wheels, which are a step up from the stock 20-inch wheels. These wheels are shod in 255/35 ZR21 tires, and you can choose from Continental, Hankook, or Yokohama. If you’re not quite as adventurous, Brabus also offers more modest 20-inch wheels of the same design.
To complete the look, Brabus offers sport springs that lower the Smart #3 by 35 mm (1.4 in), giving it a slouched stance more like a hot hatchback than an off-roader – and let’s face it, this car isn’t going to tackle any off-road terrain.
As expected, there are no changes to the all-electric powertrain. The Smart #3 Brabus still features dual electric motors with a total of 422 hp (315 kW / 428 PS) and 543 Nm (400 lb-ft) of torque, powered by a 66 kWh battery pack. This setup propels the SUV from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 3.7 seconds.
Finally, the tuner offers “improvement options” for the interior. These include aluminum pedals, illuminated side skirts, floor mats and a velvet cargo mat – all with the Brabus logo.
All exterior and interior upgrades for the Smart #3 Brabus are listed on the tuner’s official website, with pricing available upon request.
