West serves as president and CEO Hamilton County Tourism Brenda Meyers retired after leading the Hamilton County Visitors Bureau for 19 years. He has over 20 years of experience in the tourism and destination management industry. His major accomplishments include developing the strategic destination plan for Dollywood Parks and Resorts, which brought record visitor numbers, and leading the Pure Michigan initiative during his tenure at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. The Hamilton County Tourism Board of Directors nominated him for the position after a thorough review, not only because of his extensive and successful background, but also because of his reputation for energy and creativity in destination marketing.

She most recently served as Economic Development and Tourism Manager for the City of San Luis Obispo.

Tanzera Resortis the owner and operator of five resorts in North America, appointing two accomplished professionals to leadership positions.

Briseno has been promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Tanzerra Resorts. He has over 15 years of sales and marketing leadership experience and has successfully driven revenue growth and brand transformation throughout his career. Most recently, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Enchantment Resort and Mii amo. There, he successfully developed marketing strategies to enhance the guest experience and increase occupancy. He will now be responsible for sales and marketing strategy for Tanzerra Resorts’ entire product portfolio.

Walters was promoted to Briseno’s previous position as director of sales and marketing Charming Resort and Miiamo In Arizona. She most recently served as Director of Food and Beverage and Conference Services at Enchantment Resort. She will now oversee sales and marketing strategies for both hotels and work to promote their meetings and events offerings, as well as manage the event services and catering departments.

He was instrumental in promoting tourism and economic growth in the region. He will now oversee the organization’s meetings and convention sales team and develop sales strategies during the critical time of the opening of the newly renovated Dayton Convention Center in early 2025.
