- ABT Sportsline has announced a number of upgrades for the facelifted Audi Q8 and SQ8.
- The SQ8 produces up to 641 horsepower, better performance than the RS Q8.
- The SUV also comes with aerodynamics kit, 23-inch wheels and carbon fiber interior trim.
The Audi Q8 and SQ8 received mid-life updates in September 2023, followed by the RS Q8 in June 2024. True to its commitment to the four-ringed brand, ABT Sportsline has launched a tuning package for the Q8 and SQ8 that includes performance, suspension, aerodynamics and interior upgrades.
The highlight of ABT’s involvement in the new SUV is their revamp of the SQ8, which is even more powerful than the RS Q8 Performance. More specifically, thanks to the ABT Power S module, the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 TFSI engine produces an impressive 641 hp (478 kW / 650 PS) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque.

These figures are an increase of 141 hp (105 kW / 143 PS) and 80 Nm (59 lb-ft) over the stock Audi SQ8. In addition, the ABT-tuned SQ8 has 9 more horsepower (7 kW / 10 PS) than the Audi RS Q8 Performance, while matching its torque.
In addition to the SQ8, the regular Q8 has also received similar power upgrades, improving the performance of the 3.0-liter V6 electric engine. ABT has yet to announce tuning options for the RS Q8, but it has boosted the pre-facelift model to a Urus-beating 790 hp (589 kW / 800 hp), giving us an idea of what to expect.
ABT has also launched an aerodynamic package for the facelifted Q8 and SQ8, making the SUV more aggressive. Add-ons include a front splitter, side gills on the front fenders, a rear spoiler and a rear apron with quad exhaust pipes.
A body kit looks better with a set of aftermarket wheels, 22 or 23 inches in diameter. In addition, thanks to the adaptive air suspension’s lowering module, the SUV is 25 mm (1 inch) closer to the ground.
Finally, the interior can be upgraded with glossy carbon fiber inserts for the dashboard, seat frame and gear selector, as well as illuminated door sills and ABT-branded start-stop buttons.
How much does Boost SQ8 cost?
As for upgrade costs, the power boost costs €11,588.24 ($12,510) and the suspension adjustment costs €2,512.61 ($2,712). Wheels range from €5,210.08 ($5,624) to €9,546.22 ($10,306), depending on design and size. The body kit is priced at €6,403.36 ($6,913), with optional carbon fiber fender extensions adding an additional €1,016.81 ($1,098). Finally, interior upgrades add an additional €1,675 ($1,808).
If you want your Audi SQ8 to get the full list of available ABT goodies, you’ll end up with a bill of €35,573 ($38,402) before tax, including installation.
