In video celebrating 2024’s ‘Best’, Alfa Romeo adds an Easter egg that could point to new Stelvio’s light logo
- Alfa Romeo has included a teaser at the end of its “Best of” 2024 video.
- The trailer appears to show off the lighting features of the next-generation Stelvio.
- The SUV will debut in 2025, and the new Giulia sedan will be launched in 2026.
Alfa Romeo bids farewell to 2024 with a “best of” video that also comes with a few surprises at the end. The company appears to have showcased LED taillights for the next-generation Alfa Romeo Stelvio, which is expected to debut in mid-2025.
A continuous LED light strip, shaped after the iconic Serie A grille, covers a large area on the tailgate. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Alfa Romeo has used a triangular pattern, and it looks like a huge evolution from the upcoming Giulia and Stelvio taillight graphics.

In addition to the full-width taillights, we also have a look at the front end of the upcoming SUV. Starting with the Junior launched earlier this year, all Alfa Romeo models will feature a shorter version of the Scudetto grille, with a 3D graphic inspired by the Alfa Romeo logo.
As confirmed by design director Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos, future Alfas will also ditch the offset position of the number plate, which is required by pedestrian safety regulations.
The next-generation Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio will use the STLA Large platform, which already serves as the basis for the new Dodge Charger. While company officials have only mentioned all-electric powertrains, given the current state of the industry, it’s a safe bet that the Italian company will also offer a version with an internal combustion engine and possibly some kind of hybrid assistance.
Earlier this year, former Alfa Romeo CEO Jean-Philippe Imparato said the electric version of the Stelvio could produce up to 986 horsepower (735 kW / 1,000 PS), making it one of the most powerful SUVs on sale.
According to the latest reports, the new Stelvio will debut in summer 2025, with the mechanically related Giulia launching in 2026.
