Maruti Suzuki Dzire facelift is finally ready to be launched in the coming weeks. While the carmaker is yet to reveal its official launch date, media reports suggest that the new model of the compact sedan will go on sale after Diwali on November 4, 2024. With the generation change, the model will receive significant cosmetic upgrades, feature enhancements and the brand’s new Z-series petrol engine.
Previous spy shots revealed that the 2024 Maruti Dzire will feature a new front grille, updated headlamp clusters with horizontally integrated DRLs, and a tweaked bumper. Apart from a new set of alloy wheels, it appears to retain the same side profile design elements. These design changes will significantly differentiate it from the Swift hatchback.
The Dzire compact sedan will come with a single-pane electric sunroof for the first time, likely reserved for higher trims, making it the first vehicle in its segment to feature a sunroof. Other features include 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, ARKAMYS sound system, HUD (head-up display) with 4.2-inch digital MID, rear AC vents, new HVAC controls and automatic climate controls. read: Maruti Suzuki to launch Tata Punch Rival SUV
As mentioned earlier, the 2024 Maruti Dzire will be powered by Suzuki’s new 1.2L three-cylinder Z12E petrol engine, which will be available with both manual and AMT gearboxes. In the Swift, this petrol engine produces 82 hp and 112 Nm of torque.
