
Kia India will expand its popular Carens compact MPV lineup in April 2025 with a new premium version. This new premium version will be at the top of the lineup and will be suffixed after “Carens”. It will be sold with MPV existing models. While official details for the 2025 Kia Carens will be announced in the coming weeks, all the key details we all know so far.
2025 Kia Carrence lineup – New variant features
According to media reports, the updated Carens will share some advanced features with Syros, such as the 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display Panel. The setup consists of three screens: a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 5-inch AC control panel, all integrated into a large display. Level 2 ADA (Advanced Driver Assistance System) may also be borrowed from Syros. This safety kit includes lane keeping assist, forward collision avoidance assist, forward collision warning, smart cruise control and more.

Additionally, the feature list of the new Kia Carens premium version may include a 360-degree camera, OTA (On-Air) update, Kia Connect 2.0, Bose Premium Sound System, and more. Other highlights may include a panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone charger, ventilated rear seats, rear entertainment display, a dashboard with dual cameras, smart air purifiers and more.
2025 Kia Carrence lineup – New variant engine options
The new Kia Carrence will continue to use the same 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-liter turbo petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engine. The production of naturally aspirated and turbocharged gasoline motors is 115bhp and 157bhp, respectively. The oil burner is paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed converter automatic transmission, providing 114bhp worth of power.
2025 Kia Carrence lineup – New price
The new premium version is located at the top of the production line and may be priced at Rs 2 million. The existing version of the compact MPV is available in the price range of Rs 10.6 lakh, reaching Rs 19.7 lakh (all former showrooms).
