The Aprilia Tuono 457 is a naked version of the RS 457, equipped with compact headlights with integrated LED DRLs, giving it a unique “bug-like” appearance.
The Aprilia Tuono 457, unveiled at EICMA 2024, has been confirmed to be launched in India. The model is now listed on the official Aprilia India website, hinting at its imminent Indian debut. The Tuono 457 is the second motorcycle built on the 457 platform after the RS 457 priced at Rs 4.10 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, it will be the most affordable Aprilia twin-cylinder bike in India. The Tuono 457 features a flat handlebar that allows for an upright riding position, unlike the sporty RS 457. Key features include a redesigned tail section, rear-mounted footpegs, two-piece seat and belly exhaust. The Tuono 457 will compete with the BMW G 310 R, Yamaha MT-03 and KTM 390 Duke in the Indian market.

Aprilia Tuono 457: design details
The Aprilia Tuono offers a more relaxed riding position than the RS 457, with 17-inch wheels and single disc brakes at both ends. It features an adjustable USD fork at the front and a monoshock setup at the rear. The bike also has a 5.0-inch TFT color display, Aprilia’s Ride-by-Wire system with three customizable riding modes, LED lighting and other advanced features.

Aprilia Tuono 457: Engine
The Tuono 457 is powered by a 457 cc liquid-cooled engine that delivers 46.6 hp and 43.5 Nm of peak torque. It’s paired seamlessly with a six-speed transmission and a bi-directional quickshifter. Notable safety features include dual-channel ABS, multiple riding modes and traction control.
