  • Tesla is preparing to launch in Saudi Arabia, which supports Lucid Motors.
  • An event is scheduled to be held on April 10, with many products to be displayed.
  • The company is not a stranger to the Middle East, as it owns locations in Jordan and Qatar.

Tesla faces many headwinds as the company has to deal with attacks from its Chinese competitors and attacks on customers who have enough of Elon Musk. The combination led to an attack in the United States and sales in Europe declined.

In the background, Tesla is focusing on new markets to improve its destiny. The latest is Saudi Arabia as the company has sent out RSVP to open in Riyadh.

The event, held on April 10, invites guests to explore the company’s lineup and “enter the world powered by solar, maintained by batteries and powered by electric vehicles.” Cybercab and Optimus robots will obviously be present, and Tesla noted that employees will answer questions on site about ownership, home charging, and more.

Although Tesla is a newcomer to Saudi Arabia, the company already owns it in the Middle East. In particular, there are shops and superchargers in Israel, Jordan, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

Tesla’s entry into the market is interesting as Saudi Arabia’s public investment fund has put billions of dollars into Lucid. This part helps fund a factory in the country that has begun half-knock air assembly. However, “after mid-ten years” became a fully-appeared production facility.

This is not the only thing that embarrasses the situation, as Reuters noted that Musk initially relied on Tesla’s private funds on Saudi currency. This led to his infamous “funded money” tweet, which is really nonsense.

The publication also notes that electric vehicles account for only 1% of sales in oil-rich countries. This shows that Tesla’s sales problems are far from over.
