Aston Martin has announced the launch date for its new V12 grand tourer, the Vanquish, which will be unveiled on September 2, 2024. The model will succeed the DBS as Aston Martin’s flagship grand tourer (GT).
Design: A fusion of tradition and modernity
The Vanquish is expected to blend traditional Aston Martin design elements with modern touches, particularly those from the Valour. The front profile is likely to feature a more muscular design with an integrated grille and sculpted hood; some reports suggest the Vanquish will feature the largest front grille ever on an Aston Martin, while the rear is expected to feature a flat fascia, square quad exhaust pipes, and a spoiler.
Powertrain: All-new V12 engine
The Vanquish will be powered by a new twin-turbocharged V12 engine. The engine includes a reinforced cylinder block and connecting rods, a redesigned cylinder head and redesigned camshafts, as well as newly designed intake and exhaust ports. These changes bring output to 824 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque, with a top speed limited to 214 mph.
The upcoming reveal is expected to provide a deeper look at the design and technical details of the new Aston Martin Vanquish.
