
Audi will increase prices of its models in India from January 1, 2025 due to rising transportation and input costs. At present, the exact number is not clear, but the increase will be as high as 3%. Audi sells more than 16 cars in our market, including Q7, Q8, S5 Sportback, RS5 Sportback, A4, A6, Q3, Q3 Sportback, Q5, Q6, RS Q8, Q8 50 e-tron, Q8 55 e-tron , Q8 Sportback 50 e-tron, e-tron GT Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron and RS e-tron GT. It recently launched the updated version of the Q7 SUV priced at Rs 88.66 lakh.
Talking about the upcoming price hike, Audi India head Balbir Singh Dhillon said, “Due to rising input costs, we are implementing a price revision of up to 3% from January 2025. Effective from 1st, “This adjustment is critical for Audi India and our dealer partners to ensure sustainable growth. We remain committed to minimizing the impact of price increases on our valued customers. “

Interestingly, two other leading German carmakers, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, have also confirmed to increase the prices of their models in India by up to 3%. While BMW did not provide specific reasons for the price increase, Mercedes-Benz attributed the increase to rising input costs, inflationary pressures and higher operating expenses.

New Audi Q7
The facelifted Audi Q7 is a CKD (Completely Knocked Down) unit and is assembled locally at the company’s plant in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (formerly Aurangabad) in Maharashtra . It comes in two main variants: Premium Plus and Technology. The latter is priced at Rs 97.81 lakh (ex-showroom).
The updated SUV features a new grille with vertical chrome accents, cutting-edge HD Matrix LED headlights, LED DRLs with digital signature, revised bumper with air intakes and newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the facelifted Audi Q7 gets some feature improvements, such as an improved virtual cockpit and lane change warning system. It is now available in two new interior shades: Saga Beige and Cedar Brown. Mechanically, the Q7 continues to use a 3.0-liter V6 engine with a maximum power of 340 horsepower and a peak torque of 500 Nm.
