The facelifted Q8 SUV is priced starting at Rs 1.17 crore. Meanwhile, the updated GLS flagship SUV is available in two variants: GLS 450 and GLS 450d, priced at Rs 1.32 crore and Rs 1.37 crore respectively. All prices are ex-showroom.

The Q8 facelift model is equipped with a new set of matrix LEDs, and the driver has four daytime running light settings to choose from. In addition, a new single-frame grille with a 2D Audi logo has been added to the front fascia. The Q8 is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, aluminum roof rails and 21-inch graphite gray alloy wheels.

Multibeam LED headlights are standard on the GLS, offering a variety of light modes for cornering, country roads, adverse weather conditions and on the motorway. The premium German automaker has refined the SUV’s design with a new front grille, bumper and three horizontal LED elements on the taillights. It also has a panoramic sliding sunroof, illuminated pedals on both sides and 21-inch light alloy wheels.

The Audi Q8 offers a single engine option: a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. With the help of a 48V mild hybrid system, its gasoline engine produces 340 horsepower and 500Nm of peak torque. This allows the Q8 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds.

The Mercedes-Benz GLS is available with two engine options, both with mild hybrid setups. The 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine produces up to 500Nm of peak torque and 381bhp of maximum power. The 3.0-litre diesel engine is rated at 750Nm of torque and 367bhp of maximum power. According to the brand, the model can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 6.1 seconds.

The infotainment and instrument cluster screens are mounted on the center console and dashboard of the Audi Q8. There is also a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster that can be customized according to the driver’s requirements. The upper part of the center console also acts as a dual-screen MMI in addition to HVAC controls, haptic feedback and navigation maps. The Audi Q8’s adaptive dampers have three suspension modes: automatic, comfort and dynamic. The interior’s leatherette seats have four-way lumbar support, and the front seats are electronically adjustable. The driver only gets a memory function for the seats. The Q8 also has four-zone climate control. The three-section rear seats fold flat to increase cargo capacity to a maximum of 1,755 liters.

The GLS is fitted with the MBUX entertainment interface, which features a dual-screen display housing for the infotainment display and the digital instrument cluster.
